Memory Lane

I give in to peer pressure sometimes. Just not when it's about Facebook. And I have boycotted tags since everyone else seemed to boycott mine. But this time the tag was similar and I have nothing else I want to share so I am doing it ( much thanks to DKAZ and Holliann).

1. I was just starting middle school and my homeroom teacher was my friend's grandpa. Rumour has it he is still teaching to this day.
2. I got my first acid washed levi jacket.
3. I finally got my own room due to brother #3 leaving on his mission. Granted, that didn't last long since brother #2 came home from his mission and took away all my new found freedoms.

1. I was newly married and living in an old duplex in Provo.
2. I had just started my internship for DCFS and was in my final year at BYU.
3. My new hubby taught me how to do laundry and I taught him it was OK to buy treats from the grocery budget.

1. Prego with boy #3.
2. Learned all the names of dinosaurs and heavy machinery.
3. Tried to make my own Christmas stockings but had to have my mom do the actual design and sewing part. So basically I had my mom make my own Christmas stockings.

Yesterday
1. I made a real live hot dinner. One of the first since soccer season officially ended.
2. I went to Young Women's and witnessed lots of hormones.
3. I only had to put one kid in timeout the whole entire day. (He wasn't in timeout for the whole entire day, just that...you know what I mean!)

There you go. Too bad we don't have a scanner so there are no photos from 20 years ago. You will just have to imagine my permy hair and huge glasses. I tag whoever else wants to try to figure out what they were doing 20 years ago.

I liked those little slices of life. If I get a chance to post this week, I might just have to tag myself.
And Amen to the hot dinners since soccer season is over--we had our first this week too.
Today is homemade cookie day--for reals--celebrate!!

The pictures would have said tons. Darn it. Did you really get your own levi jacket or was it Doran's old one?

with apologies for brother #2 taking away all your new found freedom...

see, this week I see all the nice little "I could do that" tags... maybe I'll have tag week next week and just get them all out of the way :) (now you know to stay away if you can't handle it!)

I used to love acid wash! ohh the good 'ol days! That's too much thinking (I've had a migraine off-n-on for days)...I'll have to pass on the tag but it was fun to read about your fond memories : )

Acid wash, perms and pegged pants...beats bailout talk!

my favorite memory of you...10 years ago when we had fhe with you and leon and you spent the time "deciding" whether or not you should charge 50 cents a day for bagels,or just give you a flat $10.00 a week. Too funny!

And can I be friends with LC. I only have one qualification...homemade cookies.

I'm assuming you were referring to Mr. Shuler. Is he really still teaching??? I thought that he retired.

Also, I started a blog for the graduates of Payson High 1995. If you know of anyone else with a blog. Please forward them the link.

thanks!

I will accept your vote of thanks and leave to my imagination what you looked like with permed hair and your acid washed jean jacket. You forgot, high bangs and pegged jeans-just to complete my mental picture.

Um honey, I have a few pictures of you that I would gladly scan in for you. That was when hair down to your a** was in...was hair down to your a** ever in?

OK then, I will gladly make them "R". You implied that that was what you wanted. I thought this comment thing was for your eyes only.

See ya on facebook!

oooh - I think I just found Meg's aversion to facebook... you see, there's already another girl on there (from Provo of all things) with the SAME name... and Meg just can't handle the competition because the OTHER MM has 128 friends...

so that's okay Meg, we understand that you'd prefer to remain anonymous rather than suffer the humiliation :)

Hey Meg, I liked the memory lane. What's up with all of the pressure to do facebook? I've never even been to facebook so I know you don't have to be on facebook to be really cool:)
