It's a .......

I know you had the day marked on your calendar. And the fact that it was yesterday and you didn't even call to inquire just means you have great self-restraint. But we have had our ultrasound and the physical stuff looks great and we know the gender and now we can spend our next 20 weeks fighting on a name.

Mitch really wanted a Fred. Ethan really wanted a Sara. Isaac wanted a boy, then a girl, then another boy, then (at this point I tuned out and made a mental note to inform him that he is not involved in our family planning). Noelle's only interest in this pregnancy is the fact that my expanding belly seems to be very humorous. But the bottom line is that I now have a reason to purchase these:

Ta-Da! Won't our baby girl look adorable in these minx fur booties?? (That is faux fur, btw. I only harm animals when I eat them and when they do their bodily functions on my lawn. )

I can't believe you would announce it to the blogosphere in general before giving the info to your dear fam!!!

congrats!!

I LOVE those little booties - not enough to do the whole baby thing again, but I love 'em for your babies!

I think you should do real, organic fur for your flesh and blood.

If you want any help w/names, holler. I'll make sure to give you the ones we don't have on our precious girl list.

Oh yeah..I told Anika last night that you were going to have a girl and she said, "what? you didn't tell me she had a baby in her belly!" So good for you for not even showing enough to attract a 7 yr old's attention...bad for me for supposedly not making the announcement to the lucky gal's favorite cousins!

at midnight I said to myself since I was the only one still awake. Hey Megan found out today what she was having. I can't believe I didn't think about it sooner. Congratulations!!! I know you wanted a sis for Noelle. That is great news. I can't wait to pass it on

oh... I'm seeing the REAL picture now... CC knew - just not us "other" family...

of course, CC probably DID have the date written on her calendar along with the time of the appointment and projected drive time home so that she could be in the loop as quickly as possible.

Isn't it good that SOME of us are patient :)

For news like this, I must come out of the closet! (This particular "closet" referring to a blog-unpaticipatory-lurker.) And I also noticed a few pictures of my kids on a previous post and hoped some of your sponsors would send some $$ my way. And not the duct tape kind that worked in Avery's candy machine.
At any rate, congrats! Who could argue with another girl! Now there will be more company in the car going to all those "creative" dance classes at BYU! (The circle of life swings yet again...)

You and Wendy M. must be due around the same time. She just announced yesterday that she's having a girl too. How fun for you both! Congrats!

YAY!!! I'm so excited for you! Those booties crack me up. Where in the world did you find a picture of them? I was scrolling down expecting to see, not that. LOL! I'm glad Noelle will have a little sister to play barbies with.

Congratulations...but it looks like you may have a lot more work to get done according to isaac...a few more boys and girls? I know a good deal on a 15 passenger van!

Seriously...congratulations...thank goodness Costco has really big carts!

Dang. Busted because CC knew before the rest of the fam and busted because I used pix of ddawg's kids w/out his permission. But at least it made him come out of the closet! wahoo! Now we all will expect lots of comments from our favorite Geraldo-watching brother.
(and technically T, there isn't too much difference between the fam and the blogosphere in general right? You were the first comment after all...)

ya, I'm ready to kill the furry thing that keeps pooping in OUR yard! Garrett's knee landed in it yesterday while he was trying to help me garden...and so it was a must-change before kindergarten!!!
sorry, I got off on a tangent and didn't at all congratulate you on your baby GIRL...but I've already done that, right!?! So glad to meet Noelle's partner in crime soon! I want a pair of those booties. I turned the heat up and I'm still cold. I think I'm just cranky and need sleep but I'm waiting for my VT to come : )
Hugs to you cutest lil' preggie-poo! I think I learned that from Sara.

I'm having trouble believing that I, who knew what day your ultrasound was, didn't remember to call. How pathetic of me -- and I'm always full of curiosity too! I'll just blame it on my stress laden days preparing for my grand trip. When I finally relax and get bored on the airplane I'll try to come up with names for you and I'll only be a little grumpy when you don't use any of them. I am happy that baby girl is fine and I am looking forward to holding her when she is born.

I'm so glad you told me before the rest of the world-that was special thanks! As for your next girl...I'm going to suggest Zgem. The Z is silent. Pretty original huh?

Great news! Now you'll have reason to make more crafty hairbows--faux fur ones?
I vote for Zgem. I don't think it's taken yet.
