Permy

Did you know permy wasn't a word? I tried to use it in an exciting game of Scrabble last night with Hub, but it was a no go. I use it as an adjective all the time like "She has permy hair." And "How many permy teeth does your child have?" (OK, that last one wasn't true. I'm just getting creative now.) But who knew it wasn't a legit way to describe wavy hair?

On that note, you can tell this post has no real direction. So let's continue with the lack of theme, shall we?

Here's how I like my decorated Halloween sugar cookies:

A touch of frosting and one candy corn that is easily removed and given to someone who appreciates them.

Then there is Isaac....

We're still not even sure if there is an actual cookie underneath all the candy corn.

**And in Sydney news...

She's mobile.

She now can go get her own LEGOs to eat, follow me into any room I try to escape to but also entertains herself a little bit more.

She also can have a front row seat to her brothers' wrestling parties. As long as she is enthralled then I won't worry about her exposure to violence.

There actually have been some more eventful things happening, but a post with a picture of a sugar cookie and a complaint about my Scrabble word was all I was up for today. My prerogative, friends. (hey, that word would probably be worth a few good points...)

Yeah for Syd! We all have non-thematic days. Hope this lack of theme is not indicative of something more serious.

Syd is a beautiful baby!!! I can't believe she is old enough to be mobile!! You are good to already have your Halloween treat made... mine are still a thought, or should I say this nagging voice coming from my children! I guess I better get on that!!!

Your boys are so spazzy.

Are you really trying to portray yourself as a wife who dutifully plays an intelligent game (well, for some people) instead of watching tv? What the...

"Oh NO, she's growing up!" came straight from Sara's mouth when she saw the "mobile" pictures. I guess Sara though Syd would stay a teenie tiny baby til she got to meet her so she'd sit still for her to hold her for hours on end : )
And, OH how I miss your cookies! I guess homesickness is a weekly issue for me!
Miss you!

Permy should be a word. I bet if we can get enough people saying it, it will be added to the dictionary.

Those cookies look yummers and I can't believe sydney is mobile. Time flies! especially when it is not my kid

Obviously he was looking in the wrong dictionary and doesn't understand mommy lingo. COME ON!!! Did I mention that I LOVE seeing Syd crawl? SHE IS SO CUTE!!!

And about the cookie thing...I'm a mean mom. Whenever we decorate cookies I put a 5-candy limit. Hmph. Your kids are so lucky.
