We're so proud of Syd's new climbing skills. It keeps us all alert to know that whenever we turn around she's in a dangerous place.
Father's Day was fun. How can you not love being a dad when you have two older boys who pose for pictures like this?
We like to tour BYU with my dad around Father's Day since he was Employee of the Month there for 39 years. (does that lie even make sense? Maybe Employee of the Year would have worked better....) See how he's yelling like the screaming toddler he's holding? You know you're a good dad when you can emote with the wee ones.
And lastly...it's the time of year we try on the life jackets to make sure they still fit for the upcoming trip to Lake Powell. For some reason this is a blast. And we'll wear the life jackets around all day. Don't believe me? Keep looking.....
You never know when a tsunami will hit while practicing the piano!

maybe it helps improve his posture while practicing the piano.
congratulations Syd on keeping your parents on the ball.
Those individuals who just follow your blog will have no idea that your boys are actually quite handsome when they are not pulling faces for the camera
you sure he's not just yawning in that picture - he has been known to nod off at a moment's notice... sometimes I think it's to escape the Hullabaloo around the house when we're all visiting :)
Whatever it takes to get them to practice...
What a fun trip with grandpa to the bY. Love the photo. Was that the new photographer you hired?
Syd is CUTE!
You should start wearing your lifejacket, too. Get ready for your week o' fun!
yes, Syd had me gasping a few times, so glad she never fell off anything when I was around : ) maybe she'll jump right from great climber to great tumbler and pull off maneuvers you've never seen before!?!
great to catch up with all of you...how come NO straight-jacket (life jacket) photos were included, I saw some of the kids sporting that look too : )enjoy your "relaxing" time on the water!
Oooooh! The climbing stage is so difficult! What a little monkey! I hope for your sake it doesn't last long.
I'm thinking we need to get some life jackets. I bet I could get my kids to do all kinds of things!! Can we just borrow them sometime? LOL
I guess it's a good thing my baby doesn't even crawl yet...maybe she'll skip that climbing stage. And I love the life jacket pictures. At least you know they'll be safe!
I forgot to comment when I looked at this to mention that I love the photo of Syd on the table. Such joy!
Claire can't get enough of the picture of her and Grandpa crying (she's even practicing right now!)--can I get a copy?
